Breakfast is served in Hardy's restaurant 6.30am - 9.30am Monday - Friday, and 7am - 10.30am on weekends and bank holidays.
 
Opening times for dinner at Hardy's restaurant are 6.30pm – 9.00pm.

There's no need to book a time, however, if there is a specific time you'd prefer to enjoy your breakfast, simply advise a member of our team at reception on check-in. 

We offer a range of tasty Vegetarian and Vegan dishes. Our menus show options with V = Suitable for Vegetarians and Ve = Suitable for Vegans. We also offer gluten-free meals. Our menus show options with GF = Gluten Free and GFA = Gluten Free Alternative Available.

Please note our food is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other known allergens or intolerance's may be present. 

If you would like to discuss dietary requirements, please contact us before your stay.

A great place to stay for a short break
We had a very pleasant stay at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel and Spa. The location is excellent, providing a perfect base for exploring both the Cotswolds and the nearby towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Our ground floor room was quiet, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with air conditioning, which was very much appreciated given the weather conditions in early July. The leisure and spa facilities—particularly the pool and Spa were a highlight and a great way to unwind. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and attentive, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. We would definitely consider returning for another break in the future.
Very nice stay - will go back
Stayed here for an event at the race course. Further away than I had accounted for but worth it fora short taxi ride. Staff at the hotel are very friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. We had the suite which was perfect for a group of four friends.
Nice Weekend Break
Hotel was lovely, good clean spacious bedroom. Spa facilities good. Friendly restaurant and spa staff. The let down was the length of time we had to wait for our evening meal to be served, had to ask twice when our main course would be coming, what looked like the restaurant manager made no attempt to come to our table to explain or apologise. The waiting on staff were friendly but obviously had little food and beverage service experience.
Lovely mini break
Lovely hotel and very convenient to Cheltenham with a bus running every 20 minutes which stops right outside the hotel. Our bedroom was very comfortable with lots of amenities. We ate in the restaurant on our first night's stay which was a little disappointing. My husband ordered the fillet steak which when it arrived was overcooked and very tough. We complained to the staff, who were very apologetic and arranged a new steak to be prepared. The only problem was our meals had arrived at the same time so obviously when they took the steak away I was left eating my evening meal on my own. By the time the new steak arrived (which was very good) I had finished my meal so then my husband ate his meal on his own. I would have thought that the staff should have taken both meals away and served them again together when the new steak was ready.
Super stay
An excellent location with a bus service that takes you into Gloucester or Cheltenham with ease. Great choice of food for both breakfast and dinner. Beautiful ambience at all levels. Above all, professional and friendly staff throughout the hotel.
James's stay 6th until the 8th
Hotel was sweet, stayed in a king-size room because of an error on Spabreaks behalf, Spa and pool were absolutely stunning, I forgot to ask her name but the woman that did both my massages was absolutely lovely and did an amazing job, absolute props to her The hotel service was amazing too, no complaints there. On the otherhand the restaurant service was virtually non existent and this was a big let down, there was a delay with the food I think about 40 minutes which we were fine with, there was no checking in midway through to see if everything was alright, which again we were fine with, but then after the food just waited a good hour before anyone came over to take away the plates and offer the dessert menu, decided to have some desserts but ended up not having them cus nobody ever came back to see if we'd like to order, so we settled the tab and got desserts from the shop down the road instead. Again Hotel and spa were excellent, zero complaints.
Great night away
We stayed at the hotel on a dinner bed and breakfast deal and we had the best time. What makes this hotel lovely Is the staff. They are all so lovely, We stayed in room 144 and it was great. Lovely comfortable bed, fabulous bedding, bath and shower, don’t always get both. Dinner was good, lady greeting us and taking our order was fab, must admit if we were not on a deal the prices do seem quite steep, got a great nights sleep in the lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast was typical buffet breakfast but good quality if a little cold, again staff were lovely. Would we stay again. Hell yes. Yes the roadworks on the way were a pain but don’t think that’s the hotels fault. We will be back x
Lovely hotel. Food needs to be better!
It is a really lovely hotel. Dry modern. Lots of seating and lovely grounds. We had afternoon tea which was a little disappointing for the money. £27!!!! Four little dry finger sandwiches not presented the best. 3 little shop bought cakes (2 the same) and 4 scones for 1 person. (Who wants four scones). Very overpriced! Also ordered a pizza on the evening which was raw at the bottom. The food is overly expensive for the quality of the food. It’s a shame because everything is great. It also looks like the hotel is ran by kids!
Last minute booking and a great stay
Very friendly and helpful staff, kind and welcoming. The room was very spacious and well finished. I will definitely be staying again.
An excellent hotel which I highly recommend.
As you are probably aware, an organisations receptionist can either lose a customer/client or retain and encourage more. Our check in was done by Harriet who was 100% professional, she spoke clearly, was concise and had a very pleasant demeanour. The room, 207, was very clean and comfortable with adequate storage for clothes. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was good, the food well presented. There was an issue about which I complained but the complaint was dealt with promptly and to my satisfaction. I would certainly recommend the Cheltenham Chase hotel to my friends.
Good by EV charging spots get abused
The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is good. The only real downsides are people abuse the EV charging points and leave their fossil fuel cars blocking the spaces all day/night as there is no enforcement.
Cheltenham Chase
We booked our stay at Cheltenham Chase through a deal on Travelzoo. We were very pleased with the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant along with our complimentary bottle of wine. The breakfast on both days was of a high standard and plentiful. We used the swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi all of which were splendid. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would return. We highly recommend a stay there
Excellent base for the area.
This was our second break at this great hotel. We stayed four nights. The location on the edge of the Cotswolds is great with a view of the famous cheese rolling hill from the restaurant. Our room was excellent with a coffee machine and complimentary drinks which were regularly refreshed. I appreciated the first class breakfasts and also enjoyed dinner. Also greatly enjoyed was the swimming pool and associated facilities. We will certainly return as soon as opportunity presents itself.
Great break away for our wedding anniversary.
Stayed here for four nights that included bed and breakfast plus two evening meals and wine. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were surprised to see that the staff had very kindly left us an anniversary card in our room when we arrived. What a complete shock, as I don’t remember mentioning this when I booked, but I must have done. The breakfast was buffet style and comprehensive. The evening meals were excellent. We stayed in a room on the ground floor and it was serviced each day. All the staff were pleasant and helpful as well as knowledgeable about the area. Would stay there again if we are in the area.
Lovely hotel
The hotel was perfect for our needs. Great location, clean, quiet room, friendly staff and good food in the restaurant.
Another enjoyable stay
One of our favourite places to stay, friendly helpful staff and clean ,comfortable rooms. Love the location for visiting local attractions. Would have given a 5 star but were disappointed to find when we were seated at the restaurant that there was a reduced menu that evening. We had not been informed of this at check in . We were very disappointed as items we had been looking forward to to make it a special meal, , were not available.Our stay here was part of a celebration. We were told the kitchen was unable to operate as normal due to ongoing work there. Had we been made aware of this we would have prepared to make alternative arrangements . As it was it was now too late for this, having had a drink we could not drive elsewhere and the local carvery was our only option and to accept moving our dining reservation to the next evening. it took the gloss off our evening. Wouldn’t stop us staying with you again though .We enjoyed the rest of our stay, breakfast as always was good but better communication would have meant 5 stars!
Very comfortable hotel
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Cheltenham Chase hotel. Such a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. We were given a large family room the room was clean and very comfortable. The fridge is very handy. The bathroom was lovely and the hot water was hot immediately, especially poignant during drought conditions. We enjoyed breakfast although I thought there appeared to be a shortage of waiting staff but those working did well with the inevitable stress one young chap who was extremely pleasant all of the time. We used the local buses on one day you can purchase a selection of tickets on the Stagecoach app. If we come to the area again this will be my first hotel to consider.
Use nearby Park & Ride if going into Cheltenham.(Arle Court).
What a lovely stay,lovely spotlessly clean room and surroundings,I would give this 5 star…but…food was Luke warm breakfast and evening meal…in fact on second night I complained about STONE COLD broccoli and carrots..it was swept away and returned warmer,but this is a minor complaint…Lovely big room,very comfy bed,walk in shower,with separate bath,and air con’..fridge (that actually works) all mod con’..But must complement them on their staff what a smashing group of people from reception to Alec in the bar,so so friendly,and helpful .We so enjoyed our stay and will return…Highly recommend this hotel.One useful tip..You are just a few miles 6 I think out of Cheltenham,there is a park and ride very close it’s called Arle Court Transport hub ( be aware you think you are driving into a multi-storey car park,in fact you are) ,walk to lower floor where you’ll seethe bus it was £5.00 to,park and we were there for 5 hours…try and park in this town for that price and you can use the ticket again a no brainier ,..So because this hotel was so nice…ohh NO ROOM TO ROOM NOISE as well,we will be back. we didn’t use the Spa.
Leisure mid week break
We had a really fab time all round over our 2 night break at this hotel. Room was lovely, good size, clean and well equipped with everything! The spa was a great additional and relaxing activity and not too busy on the evenings we went in. Food was delicious and great sized portions. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. Staff all round were very helpful, friendly and approachable. The only thing missing and would be a great addition, we felt, were coffee machines. We spotted they were available but not useable in other parts of the hotel but not in the restaurant for breakfast. The coffee really wasn't great in the vacuum flasks so they were missed. A special mention please, must go to Jack at the breakfast Servings. So cheerful, friendly and helpful Really nothing was too much trouble for him and he seemed to go out of his way for the guests to make sure everything was just so 😊. He is a real credit to the team and deserves a special mention 👍🏻
Exceptional stay
Lovely hotel exceeded our expectations exceptionally clean. All staff were very polite and friendly and happy to help would definitely recommend.
